Central Australia Suicide Prevention Forum 2026

Registrations are now open for the Central Australian Suicide Prevention Forum 2026.

📅 Day 2 – Thursday 11 June 2026 (8:30am–4:00pm)

While the full program is still being finalised, here is a preview of what’s planned:

Day 1:

  • Guest speakers
  • Lived experience presentations
  • Aftercare supports
  • Safety planning group activity
  • Learnings from suicide prevention training

Day 2:

  • Interactive workshops
  • Self-care activities
  • Networking opportunities

 

The forum is free to attend, but places are limited. We encourage you to register for both days to get the most out of the program, although single-day attendance is welcome.

Attendees from previous forums have found the experience highly valuable—offering meaningful connections and practical skills to support people in their communities. The forum is hosted by the Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA) in partnership with Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, with support from the Northern Territory Government and DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs.
