Carpentaria Therapy Services

Allied Health services for children, young people and adults with a range of requirements in urban and remote areas. Our therapists incorporate a multi-disciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists.

 

Adult Day Program

Provides person-centred day service activities for adults with a disability, to enable participation in community life and development of  abilities within a broad range of life experiences. We support people aged 17 and above with high and low support needs and offer a variety of centre-based and community activities.

 

Short Term Accommodation / Respite

Provides respite services for urban and remote families of children and adults who have disabilities and high support needs with planned, regular support in a home setting with peers and support people, where participants enjoy community access activities such as swimming, horse riding, bbqs and picnics.

 

Supported Independent Living

Provides full time person-centred support and accommodation to enable people with a disability  to access and enjoy a safe, comfortable and fulfilling life in their home and in the community.

 

Support Coordination

Carpentaria offers Support Coordination services to assist in the implementation of NDIS plans, ensuring that individuals are able to find and connect with the services and supports they require.
