Migration Support Services

As part of the world-wide Red Cross tracing network, Red Cross tracing in the Northern Territory re-establishes contact between relatives separated as a result of war, conflict or international disaster. Various free-of-charge services are offered, including tracing, the Red Cross message service, family reunion, health & welfare reports and related services. Support is provided to people seeking asylum and living in the Northern Territory while they are awaiting determination of a claim for protection.

Emergency relief is available for any migrant experiencing a crisis, in the form of casework, limited financial assistance and in-kind support.
