NTCOSS is the peak body for the Social and Community Sector in the NT and advocates for social justice on behalf of people and communities who may be affected by poverty and disadvantage. Our Sector represents more than 20,000 Territory workers and volunteers and is one of the largest in the NT.
Our vision is a fair, inclusive and sustainable NT. This NT Election we’re calling for fairness and equity for all Territorians.
We want to build on the successes of recent years such as raising the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to 12 and passing the Anti-Discrimination Amendment Bill 2022, which modernised the law to greater protect people from unfair discrimination.
NTCOSS’s 2024 Northern Territory Election Priorities focusses on policy solutions and investments that will make the biggest difference to those who need it most.
