Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council is a leading community service organisation that provides a range of programs to women, children and their families. Our work spans across 350,000 square kilometres of Central Australia and is critical to building and maintaining a better future for all Anangu communities within the region.

The Directorate Team ensures the voices of NPY women of the NPY region in central Australia are heard and strategic understanding executed. The Directorate Team leads the executive management responsibilities of the organisation working in close consultation with elected Directors of NPY Women’s Council.

We are now recruiting for a Governance and Executive Associate to provide high level administrative and governmental support to the Chief Executive Officer, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, as well as support our 12 elected Aboriginal Directors.

The ideal person will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and be experienced in prioritising competing demands. In addition, this role will work with a number of internal systems so we’re looking for a balance of people and technical skills.

The successful person will be eager to learn, be great at building relationships and have values that align to an Aboriginal Controlled Organisation.
