2019 Peer Support Workshop

Friday 12 July @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Are you interested in learning skills and tools for supporting yourself and your colleagues? Please join us for a 2 hour session for community based workers. You will be provided with an understanding of peer support and how it can work for you and your organisation. Peer support is a structured, supportive process in which people, in pairs or in groups, use their professional knowledge and relationship expertise to support, challenge and debrief each other. We will explore different models, tools and approaches and then practice in a group session. This is an open group, everyone working in a not-for-profit community service organisation is welcome to one or all sessions. There are no costs to attend however places are limited, so please register. For more information and assistance with registration contact janine@ntcoss.org.au
