We have a range of support services available to victims of crime, past or present. We can provide information, crisis counselling and referrals for other support services. We can assist in the preparation of documentation such as Victim Impact Statements and applications for financial assistance where victims are eligible. VoCNT are also able to offer support to victims of crime participating in Youth Justice Conferencing and Youth Diversion Programs. We also have a range of programs designed to offer practical financial assistance.

We have a 24hr free call phone line available for crisis support Territory wide.

Court Services

If you need some assistance to prepare for and/or attend court, we are available.

We can provide support for those feeling overwhelmed or traumatised by the court process by answering any questions they may have, explaining the terminology the judges or lawyers are using or simply sitting with the victim and providing emotional support so that they don’t have to face court alone.

Home Security Assessment

A free home security assessment can be booked for you if you would like recommendations on how to improve your home security.

Property Crime Program

This program is designed to assist victims of crime financially to re secure their home or vehicle following an unlawful entry or criminal damage. Eligibility applies.

Information, referral, crisis support and counelling

We understand the different circumstances and reactions that can happen for people following a crime and provide customised support to assist with coping and recovery. We can link people into other helpful services for longer term support where needed and our qualified team can meet with you face to face or via phone.  We can also advocate on your behalf to other agencies such as police, government and non-government agencies.
