Migration Support Services
As part of the world-wide Red Cross tracing network, Red Cross tracing in the Northern Territory re-establishes contact between relatives separated as a result of war, conflict or international disaster. Various free-of-charge services are offered, including tracing, the Red Cross message service, family reunion, health & welfare reports and related services. Support is provided to people seeking asylum and living in the Northern Territory while they are awaiting determination of a claim for protection.
Emergency relief is available for any migrant experiencing a crisis, in the form of casework, limited financial assistance and in-kind support. Red Cross provides support and assistance to people who have been trafficked, or who have experienced forced marriage, through the Support to Trafficked People Program. Red Cross also conducts monitoring visits to immigration detention centres in Australia and offshore.
Communities for Children Program
Enables the establishment of community committees in both Palmerston and Tiwi Islands. The committees then allocate funding to a number of local programs to support families and children.
Operation of the National Registration & Inquiry System
(NRIS) allows concerned relatives to track family members who find themselves caught up in disasters. Australian Red Cross also provides assistance for people affected by emergencies and disasters. Trained staff and volunteers identify those who need counselling & support and provide basic necessities, care and comfort.

Good Start Break
Provides projects that support acfast Clubcess to nutritious food for vulnerable people. Material aid in the form of breakfast is provided at primary schools and secondary schools to ensure children in need receive a good breakfast before study.
Provide financial support to the agency through the sale of second-hand clothing, furniture, household goods & bric-a-brac, all at affordable prices.
Personal Helpers & Mentors Program (PHaMs)
PHaMs works to increase opportunities for recovery in adults and young people 16 years old or over who have severe functional limitations as a result of severe mental illness.
The program is a home-based outreach support service that assists people with gaining access to appropriate & timely support services, development of personal capacity & self reliance and increased community participation.
A telephone support service through which volunteers provide contact with people who are isolated because they are aged, frail or have disabilities or other restrictions. Trained volunteers telephone people in their homes at a pre-arranged time each day to check on their wellbeing. If there is no answer after several attempts, appropriate action is taken.
Community Development Work in seven locations, with Community Development Officers and Cultural Support Workers assisting the communities to develop solutions and programs that are best for each community. Red Cross is working in Darwin, Galiwinku, Katherine, Daly River, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Tiwi Islands.

A Youth focused program with a focus on alcohol and other drugs.
Register of Adult Support Persons (RASP)
A youth justice program of volunteers providing support to young people who are being interviewed by police.
Kalano Flexible Care
A 16 bed hostel to cater particularly for the Kalano Community in Katherine.
