Advanced Place-based Development Approaches

This five day intensive short course will support staff working in social services and Indigenous Affairs to build their proficiency to work developmentally. Participants will develop skills in place-based approaches, locally-led decision making, front-line leadership, institutional brokering, and adapting to complexity. This course will help parents explain and reflect on their parenting style and their children’s behaviour. It provides parents with a greater understanding of how to meet their children’s needs and communicate with their children.
